Our Story

In October of 2020 my best friend Angel and I were talking about how much we missed Haiti and Puerto Rico, the islands which our families come from.  We've been friends since our childhood and have always been proud of our culture. We wished we had pictures or items that reminded us of the Caribbean to display in our homes.

With tens of thousands of Caribbean and South Americans living in NY, we realized we couldn't be the only ones who felt this way. With no ability to buy art representing our culture here, we would have to get it ourselves. CARIBART1804  is representing the Caribbean and Central/South American culture. Authenticity absolutely guaranteed! 1804 is the year Haiti became the first free island republic in the western hemisphere, and sparked the fight for freedom in Central/South America.
